Should I purchase a 1080p Plasma?

The benefits for purchasing a 1080p Plasma television is that the picture quality is much higher than a standard LCD tv. The picture quality is very slight when watching normal tv programmes but when watchcing HD channels the difference is easily noticeable and well worth paying for. Makes you feel like your actually there.

Do you have a 1080p source to feed into the tv such as bluray player? If not then no, most cable is only 720p and upscaled dvd's are also 720p. If it doesn't cost more than a 720p model then yes but the difference is not worth extra money.

I've owned a 1080p Plasma before and I've got to say I was very impressed. I received great customer service with a smile when I first purchased it. In addition, it's a very high quality item, very affordable, and it's survived wear and tear for years. I highly recommend it.

The picture on a 1080p plasma tv is in the best high-definition quality. The picture is the clearest and the colors show the best. They're also perfect for Blu-Ray.

If I were gonna purchase a 1080p tv I would go with LCD. Plasmas dont have as long of a life and tend to be a little more expensive. They also have issues with images that are regurarly watched being stuck on the screen. LCD may not look as good at first but is a much better buy.

Well it is hard to say. That is the highest resolution however that does not mean it is a good tv. Look online for customer reviews of it.

1080p is better than 1080i. Heck, 720p is better than 1080i. You get way better resolution with pixilated than interlaced. 1080i is the latest and greatest.

Plasma TV's area a cheaper than LCD. The picture quality is better for action videos, but new LCD's have better contrast. Plasma tend to get burn-in if used for gaming.

Yes you should. The picture is much better, it makes sports look a lot better as well as games. It almost looks as if you are in whatever you are watching with the people.
