Should I keep my Bluetooth headset on even while I am not talking?

It's your choice, but if you don't, you'll have to turn it on and wait for it to connect again every time you need it. I'd leave it on.

You should certainly keep it turned on; otherwise, when you receive a phone call, you will have to turn the headset back on and let it resync with your phone. You might miss an important call! If you're asking about wearing the headset; that is entirely a matter of personal preference!

Your bluetooth does not need to be turned on as it would be when you are on a call. However, you do need to make sure it remains in pairing mode with your cell phone. Otherwise, when a call comes in, it will not be able to be answered by your headset.

I would say no. If you aren't using it than you are just wasting battery life. Unless you have to reconnect every time someone calls.

There is no evidence that there is any risk of physical harm that can be caused by keeping a headset on while not talking however it may be a good idea to take it off when you don't need it.

It's up to you. Many people leave it on all day. Personally, I think it looks goofy myself, but who knows, maybe it'll be a new fashion trend.
