There is nothing wrong with cheap cabinets in a rental property. If you have an IKEA close to you i would recommend there cabinets. There base hardware is sturdier than most nice cabinets. And there surfaces are easy to clean. Also because there cabinets are universally sized it is easy to replace damaged doors and faces.
