Usually job descriptions or school application processes will stipulate how far back to go with employment history. The standard is typically to list work experience within the past 3-5 years.

Generally yes, you need to include all previous employment on a resume, even if it was only for 6 months.

While submitting a resume, it is advisable to narrate all the truths and no manipulations must be done therein. That is going to serve as a documentary proof for your future dealings with your prospective employer. The only thing you could do is to highlight your plus points and leave the rest in normal font.

If the 6 month employment is recent or fills in an otherwise long gap in your employment, yes, include it.
