Air France has admitted that its safety record needs to improve. They have even hired consultants to come in to help. There have been no deaths since 2000.

Air France would be an excellent choice to fly with. Their service record is exemplary and they have not been involved in any major crashes or air accidents in many years. The safety record of the airline industry as a whole is quite good and you should have no concerns flying with Air France.
