He obviously is having nightmares. You should be concerned. Play quiet and peaceful music before he goes to sleep. Make sure he does not watch anything scary on TV, even during the day. read happy peaceful books to him before bedtime. Have the evening routine very pleasant and quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely. A child could be having night terrors. Something is causing him to be afraid and causing horrible nightmares. I would talk to your doctor. It could be something he is eating at night. Your doctor is well equip to help you with nightmares. He can advise you as to what could help.

A toddler screaming in his or her sleep could be an indication of night terrors. This is something that you may want to bring up with your childs doctor. Always make certain that you check on your child when he or she screams out to ensure they are safe and not in need of you.

I don't think you shhould be concernded about your toddler screaming in his sleep. My 4 year old does that all the time. She usually screams " no daddy" because during the day she gets into playful fights with her dad and at night she dreams about that. You should ony be concerned if he is saying something really weird.
