Should children really go into pageants?

There is good debate on both sides of this issue. If a child wants to enter it might be fuin. The children learn to be good losers and good sports. Never force a child to enter.

Absolutely not! It teaches them that you can only win if your are pretty and talented. And the parents place too much emphasis on it.
