On my Toyota, the hand break button is stuck. How do I fix it?

The only way you could fix your hand break button is to remove the button and install a new one. Sometime the springs and the levers give away depending on the useage. Its better to fix one from Toyota.

You have to open the hand break side button check its spring it might have lose tension or solder point has been broken.

Im not sure if there is much you can do to un-stick it. You could try lubricating around the button and the brake mechanism to see if that helps.
