With an infant that young, you should call the pediatrician right away. If your baby seems to be in distress, go to the ER as soon as possible.

You will know if something is wrong when a licensed doctor tells you that there is a problem. At such a young age it is hard to tell if any damage has been done. Take the infant to a doctor immediately, only a professional will be able to properly diagnose the child.
