My Kenmore Elite dishwasher top does not spin. What should I do?

Check the inside water track of the top blade for calcification or other obstructions. With the Dishwasher not in operation check that the blade can be turned by hand. Try washing the blade with a mix of water and vinegar and running the dishwasher without any dishes in.

Please do not overload the dishwasher. See that only the empty utensils are kept inside without any food in it as the dishwasher surface should be free for rotating.
