My ice maker does not work anymore, and neither does my water dispenser. What could be wrong?

Quite possibly you may either have something in your water line that is blocking the water from reaching your dispenser, or there may be a kink in the copper tubing (if this is on a refrigerator), if the refrigerator has been moved recently. Also, another idea would be to make sure that the source is turned on.

If they quit working at the same time look on the back of the refrigerator to see if there is a water filter, they are usually blue or white in color. If the filter is clogged it would stop them from working.

Sometimes they do need to be replaced. Often this is when the ice cubes stick together or, worst case, the valve is stuck in the on position and you get a flood. Try the above suggestions first.
