It may have value based simply on age, but what is more important is gold content, design, the stones with which it has been set, if it was made by a certain "house" such as Tiffany or Cartier, or many smaller designers who have name and cache. If it is of a "type" like Art Deco, that will increase worth.

Of course, it is worth a great deal. Gold is a good way of avoiding risks. Based on current financial situation, the international gold price has increased much. The price also differs in terms of gold type, but in most cases old gold will be worth more money. You can also consult with some glod specialist for further advice.

Often times jewelry is only worth the amount of gold present in the piece at the going rate, but for some pieces the age or artistic workmanship in the piece could increase the value.

It is impossible to know just from the stamp, but gold jewelery is always valuable. You could try selling it on E-Bay, or taking it to someone who could appraise your earrings.
