My gas trimmer won't start because fuel flooded the spark plug. How do I fix it?

You usually would just let the engine sit for about 30 mins to allow gas to evaporate and escape. Or if you are in a hurry, unscrew the spark plug and dry it off.

If the spark plug has seemed to go out on your trimmer you will have to remove and replace it.

First try removing the spark plug. Let the trimmer sit with the plug removed to allow the extra fuel to evaporate. Examine the plug if it looks burnt or fouled replace it before re-installing.

If you hold the throttle at its highest speed and pull the starter it will usually clear the flood after about 10 pulls then start right up
