My fingers are peeling, what should I do?

Prior to the peeling they were swollen and they still hurt along the fingertips.

Wow. If you don't know of any existing allergy you have to evaluate what you have been doing. Have you changed your soap, are you taking a new medication? Are your hands submerged with a new product? A vitamin deficiency can cause this condition. Evaluate, eradicate and consult a physician.

Peeling skin may be a result of irritation from contact with an item you are allergic with, localized trauma, such as exposure to excessive hot or cold as well as circulatory and toxic effects. If creams do not help in a couple days, see a dermatologist for complete evaluation and treatment.

There is really not information here to answer this question. Do have psoriasis? Call your doctor and see what they suggest this could be a chemical burn or something else. They might have you come in and look at it in order to determine what is going on.

The best thing to do is start using lotion on a regular basis, probably two to three times daily to fix this.
