My daughter is not good talking about her feelings, how do I get her to open up?

You might want to try talking about your feelings with her first. Simple and "safe" things, like "Gee, I'm tired today" or "It made my day when she offered to help me. " When she does share something, make sure not to invalidate her with "don't feel that way" responses. Instead, say things like "You must have felt really.... "

It is hard to express feelings. Show your daughter the different feelings by example. Tell her how you feel such as saying, "I feel sad that you... " or "I am happy today that we are... ". Books are great ways in teaching kids about the different emotions without having to lecture them. Ask her feeling questions in the book.
