My cat is sneezing blood, what should I do?

Your cat has an upper respiratory ailment which is almost always fatal without veterinary treatment. If your cat is at that point you may be too late. This is common in felines, but takes awhile to get to the point where blood presents. A suffering animal needs a vet.

Sometimes when a cat has an upper respiratory infection it sneezes so much that it sneezes out blood. Get an antibiotic from your vet to help treat the URI.

Bring your cat to the vet immediately! Any sign of blood is a sign on an emergency. Her sinuses could be irritated or the blood could be from the stomach/lungs.

You should take him or her to the vet as this may be a serious upper respiratory infection that could kill them.
