My 4-Runner's power antenna is not working. How do I fix it?

First always check the fuse for both the radio and the power antenna. Then you need to check thee wire from the back of the radio to make sure it hasn't grounded out. Also check the obvious things such as a blockage holding the antenna down, when you do get it out make sure its not bent at all.

you need to check and see if a fuse is blown. before you press or force the unit to work, see if the wires are pluged in. you may need to replace the unit.

The motor probably went bad. Just unbolt the old one and install a new one. IT should be pretty straightforward but it may be tricky getting access to the bolts.

First check to make sure that the wires and fuse for this device are in working and good order. If they are, the problem is the motor on the antenna.
