The answer to this one is pretty easy. The answer to the riddle would have to be "I am a clock", since a clock face would only have twelve numbers on it.

This is a very old riddle. The answer is a clock. A clock typically has twelve numbers, 1 to 12, marking the hours on the face. Of course, there is probably a clock with numbered seconds that does have 13 on the face somewhere.

You are a grandfather clock. The "face" of a clock only goes from one to twelve, so there can not be a thirteen on the face. Unless the clock was on military time, which goes from one to twenty four, but they probably do not make grandfather clocks like that.

The riddle refers to the face with no 13, leading me to believe that it is either a watch or a clock. I would probably answer with a clock, as the numbers only go to 12,and when referring to a clock or watch, most people call the numbers a face. I cannot determine any other possible answers to the riddle.
