Some spotting can be normal in pregnancy, especially early pregnancy. If you are worried, or if the spotting gets heavier, contact your doctor.

There's not much that you can do, but you should know that this is not uncommon. Brown spotting can be a sign of implantation bleeding, where an embryo has displaced some of the uterine lining. If it becomes bright red, let your doctor know.

Brown spotting is very common in early pregnancy. As long as you do not develop a red spotting or heavy cramping you should be fine.
