Chemical herbicides aren't safe to use around children. The most natural and safest way to remove weeds is by hand-picking them. Pull-out as much of the roots with the weeds as possible. If any weeds sprout-up, there will be less weeds to deal with each time. Weed seeds will blow into your yard via the wind, so don't use chemicals.

I certainly would never use it around children or pets. There are some natural recipes that you could research. This not only would save you money, but also would be much safer. Better to be safe and just pull weeds or dig them up.

it is a toxic product but if you use only a little bit of it at a time it shouldn't harm them at all and if you put it on weeds jsut keep your kids inside for a day or 2
