Yes there is. Though it's rare for a dog who lives in the city, dogs who roam in the country frequently get them. The worms live in the windpipe and the dog can pass them in stools. If caught quickly, it's easily treated.

The canine lung worm does exist, but is mostly found in rural dogs. They get infected with this parasite by consuming crayfish, snails or through contact with infected raccoons. Infected dogs usually cough a lot during exercise or other running activities. Diagnosis is done easy by a Vet through fecal examination and treatment is usually simple.

There is such thing but in most dogs living in the city is harder to get than it is from a dog that lives in the country. Reason is that the dogs in country are running around hunting in the woods and they are exposed to the environment of bacteria and worms.
