Yes, 220 volt extension cords are available and an example is the Stanley 31626 Appliance Pro 6-Foot 220 Volt Heavy Duty Grounded Extension Cord.

No. You will need a wire capable of carrying a 220 volt current. Extension cords are for 110 volt currents and will not work on 220. Any hardware store should have it. Anything involving 220 volt current is enough to easily kill you, so proceed with caution. If you are doubting yourself, have it professionally done.

Yes most of them have twist lock plug ends on them for generators etc. A lower amperage one will have the prongs turned sideways on it.

Well to date from what I have seen, there are no such things as 220 volt extension cords. Extension cords are usually made to carry up to 100 volts. 220 volt cords do not exist and they carry high electrical voltage which can only be handled by the professionals. Therefore, no.
