you can purchase a replacement female end for an extension cord at just about any local hardware store. You'll need a few simple tool for the repair. A screwdriver, some wire cutting pliers and some wire strippers. Simply remove the cover from the replacement ends. Cut the wires in the cord to length, strip shielding and insert into the end.
