Is there a whitening mouthwash?

I don't want to put gels on my teeth.

There are whitening mouthwashes out on the market but I wouldn't recommend them because of their low effectiveness. The reason that tooth whiteners exist as gels is because gels allow peroxide to stay in the vicinity of the teeth and not the rest of the oral cavity(when used in combination with trays). You can't achieve the same isolation with mouthwashes.

There are multiple over the counter whitening mouthwashes. Listerine makes one brand. It may not work as good as some professional products that you can get from your dentist.

Crest makes a whitening mouthwash that goes with their whitening toothpaste. I don't think it's as effective as the strips though.
