Is there a surgery for lupus?

My aunt was recently diagnosed and I am trying to learn all about the disease.

There is a stem cell transplant surgery. The stem cells are given back to the person so they can multiply white blood cells which is the main problem with Lupus. This is usually not one of the first procedures though for the most part chemotherapies and diet are chosen first.

Treatment of someone with lupus is based on the severity of the disease. Surgery is considered if the disease has progressed to the point of causing damage to the kidneys.

Lupus is a condition of the blood. There is no surgery to treat it, because it isn't centrally located anywhere. The treatments are largely based around the administration of medication.

There is no surgery for lupus. For some patients, doctors use a drug that decreases inflammation. Depending on the advancement of lupus, doctors treat you with a drug used to treat malaria. Once you are diagnosed with lupus, early treatment will help you greatly to keep it under control. There should be no reason not to lead a normal life.

Its a chronic inflammatory disease occurs when the body immune system attacks its own organ and tissue. Scientific term for the disease Lupus Erythematosus. It infects kidney, heart, lungs, blood cells, joints, skin etc. , There are four types of lupus. For primary not neccessary but complication of lupus surgery is needed.

Lupus can be mild to severe and there is no operation to cure it. The disease is a malfunction of the immune system and can affect most parts of the body.
