all parts of the yucca cane plant are poisionious to cats. Eating it can cause serious intestional upsets and in some cases seizures and death.

All plants in the Yucca species are toxic on some level to cats. Any Yucca plant has the potential to cause stomach upset, drooling, vomiting and diarrhea.

From what I have found in my searches is that it may cause your cat to drool, vomit and have diarrhea but should not be life threating. It also depends on how much the cat ate it would be safe to bring the cat to a vet to be sure.
