Is the Queen of the Dammed a good book?

You can definately read this book before any others but i wouldnt say it is a good book, in fact Anne Rice is not really literature anyway.

Queen of the Damned is a very interesting book in the currently extremely popular vampire genre. It is, however, a continuation of the vampire series which begins with Interview with the Vampire. Anne Rice is an extremely popular author in this genre and The Vampire Chronicles are some of her most celebrated works.

The Queen of the dammed is a great book. i think Anne Rice is a great writer, she really knows how bring life to her books and her characters. I do not think you should watch the movie . The movie is a disgrace to the book and Anne Rice. I think anyone could enjoy this book.

This book tells how vampires came about from the beginning by Anne Rice. Yes I would read it before Interview with a Vampire.

Queen of the Damned is a great book, as are most of the Vampire series written by Anne Rice. However, I would not recommend reading the book out of order, as you will be missing some important information.
