Indeed it is, especially if you spend long periods working at the computer. Using ME4000, the angle for your wrists and the shape of your hands will be much more natural than in normal keyboards, so you'llll feel much more comfortable while working, and much less tired after. You can also type faster because you'll have less tension.

The Microsoft Ergonomic 400 is a confortable keyboard. The wrist pad is made of a nicely textured faux leather material which is very useful for anyone with wrist problems. The keys tap much softer which means your fingers don't absorb as much shock when you are typing.

Ergonomic keyboards are made to naturally fit with how the wrists are aligned with typing. They relieve the likelihood of carpal tunnel and such problems by the natural fit.

The Microsoft Ergonomic is not more comfortable due to the split keyboard design. This makes it very hard to use and not great on the wrists.
