Yes. I think most GE products meet that standard. Energy Star is a series of energy saving initiatives put together by the U.S. Department of Energy and the EPA to help conserve power. The word harmony probably tries to imply that these appliances work with nature instead of against it.

The GE Profile Harmony is a wonderful product. And yes its an energy star product as well. If your are looking for it. Then buy one as you will not regret on your purchase.
