Items from Pepperidge Farms last a very long time. At outlets, they sell things that are past the sell by date, but they are still good and safe to eat.

I have shopped at these outlets and never found a freshness problem with items I've bought. The key is to consume the items you've bought right away.

Food sold should be in good date code. Look at the package to see the date. The Pepperidge outlets generally keep close to end date.

The food is often not fresh, in fact much of it is either expiring or near expiration. I recommend looking for sales at your local grocery store.
