Is the AmeriStar air conditioner a good choice?

I have a lot of experience with heating and air conditioning but am not that familiar with the Ameristar air conditioner. Because I am not all that familiar with this brand, I would feel more comfortable recomending Trane or possibly American Standard. I have more experience with these brands and know them to be very reliable and well made.

This is considered a pretty good choice among consumers. They like the smaller compact design which is great when it comes to blending in the home.

AmeriStar is made in China for Ingersol Rand / Trane. They should call it ChinaStar
