The tax tables are the same regardless of which form you use. It is based on taxable income abd filing status. Arriving at taxable income is easier on 1040-EZ.
The 1040 EZ is very easy to use. You can do it with the paper form, but it is even easier to do the 1040 EZ online and let the government calculate it for you. This assumes that you have no itemized deductions.
