Yes it is. Most liquid soaps are antibacterial. Bars of soap get contaminated with bacteria from touching the skin and then sitting out. You use the same bar again shortly after. Liquid soap in a bottle completely side steps this problem.

Softsoap does make an antibacterial soap but they also make soap that is not antibacterial. You will want to read the bottle of the soap before purchasing. If it is antibacterial it should indicate it on the label.
