Is scar tissue in your stomach a normal complication of diabetes?

No, scar tissue is not a normal complication and indicates either rare compications or another primary process and should be evaluated by a doctor.

Yes it is if you inject your insulin into your stomach. If you inject in your stomach you should alternate the sites with your buttocks or your arms. The scar tissure will remain but if you spread out the sites it wont be so bad.

Scar tissue in the stomach is not a normal complication. Gastroparesis or slow emptying of your stomach is a normal side effect due to autonomic dysfunction.

No, but, if you are on certain medications for diabetes, it could be damaging your stomach tissue. I find that they are harsh on the stomach!

No. Diabetes in itself can decrease circulation, causing the body to heal more slowly, increasing the formation of scars from injuries or cuts. However, scar tissue can only form if there is an injury or surgery, which diabetes itself doesn't cause.
