Never, never, never use peroxide on your hair. Not only will it dry your hair out, it will damage it permanently. Straight peroxide is never a good idea for anyone. You can find hair dyes at your local drugstore that are peroxide free. Just look for organic and chemical-free dyes

Yes, peroxide is bad for your hair. It will strip the color from it and make it very dry. If you are looking to change your hair color, go to a professional with professional products. This way your hair will turn out the color you want (and not orange!) and it will be better for your hair.
