I have had Paragard for almost a year now. While the insertion is a little uncomfortable, it is worth it to not worry about birth control for 10 years!

It is not a good birth control. For women it has a higher risk of expulsion and it might result to longer periods, cramps, and it has a higher risk of having a Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.
