Is nylon or polyester a better carpet?

Nylon is a better wearing fiber but is semi-porous in is nature. It requires a topical application to prevent staining. Polyester is a less rigid fiber, thus doesn't wear as well as nylon but it isn't a porous fiber.

I would go with the polyester, I find that it is easier to clean than the nylon. I also find it more comfortable.

Nylon carpet holds up better under high traffic. Polyester carpet is better in situations where the carpet will be stained, or in a sunlit room; it's easier to clean.

yes offcorse,nylon or polyester carpets must be better because the carpets which are made of nylon and polyester are synthetic fibre,strong,lightweight material which can be made into sheets,fabric,or moulded objects and can be used to make fabric for cloths.

Nylon fiber is resilient, durable, and cleans easier than polyester. Polyester is a naturally softer fiber than nylon. A chemical has to be added to the nylon to make it as soft. Recycled soda bottles are added to polyester, (PET polyester)to prevent crushing or matting.
