You T.V. may be repairable after a power surge, but only a professional should attempt to perform any repairs. An untrained individual can do more harm than good when attempting to repair a piece of equipment as complicated as a television. Contact your manufacturer for warranty information and the location of your nearest qualified repair center.

In general, the television should be repairable if you had a power surge. The surge may have only overloaded some circuits and this can be repaired without a great deal of effort. If other physical damage occurred in the TV set, then the damage might be hard to fix.
