Is it worth purchasing a Ton-Klar cello?

Ton-Klar was the brand used by William Lewis and Sons of Chicago, IL. Many of the older instruments were made in Germany, and the woods used were relatively high quality. If you find the instrument has superior tone and no faults, it could be a real bargain. It could also be a bad buy. Get it checked by an expert.

Ton-Klar is a mass-produced instrument. It usually isn't made of quality woods and is of inferior craftsmanship. You're better off spending the money on a better instrument.

The Ton-Klar cello is a beautiful instrument. The sound it produces is absolutely wonderful. I would buy a Ton-Klar cello in a heart beat. I've always wanted to play the cello. This is the cello I would go with. The quality is excellent. Ton-Klar cellos are a thing of beauty.

Yes Ton-Klar cello worth purchasing as it comes in various models & sizes. Price range also vary for different models. It comes in various outfits which includes rosin, real ebony finger board, inlaid purfling etc. Hence its worth purchasing Ton -Klar cello.

I have the orchestra model, and it was the best purchase that I have ever made. I have had other brands and they don't even come close to the sound quality that these cellos have.

This particular cello is large and cumbersome. It is also expensive and rarely ever used in orchestras meaning that it would be a waste of your time and resources to purchase this cello.

I've owned a Ton Klar Cello since 1987 - it really is a pretty nice cello for the price.
