It is safe to drink the water from your bathroom sink. The water there is the same as that from your kitchen sink and shower head. The only exception would be if the sink faucet has mold on it.
If the water is safe in your house and the pipes are OK, there is no difference in water quality from that of your kitchen. If the water tastes funny anywhere, though, have it checked out.
