What should I do if my puppy had a concussion and is vomiting after drinking water?

You should take your puppy to an emergency Vet immediately! Vomiting can be a sign of brain injury and brain damamge could result. Stop trying to have him drink water. Keep him calm and watch his pupils. If they are uneven and dilated he will need immediate attention!

Call your veterinarian immediately. A concussion is a serious medical issue and could be deadly if let go. It's important to remember that puppies are much like babies, they should be given medical attention just the same.

Nausea and vomitting are two indicators of a concussion; not to worry with a little rest the dog should get better. If you notice any other changes in your dogs behavior, like not being intrested in usual activities or a change in his personality this can be a more serious problem.

Take your puppy to the vet. Vomiting after any head trauma is not good at all. The vet may do a head scan on him to see if there was any damage fro the head trauma. They will monitor and put him under observation for a while. He will be fine, don't worry.
