Some medications cannot be taken during pregnancy but there are some that are okay. You must ask your doctor if you can take a certain medication. This is important.

It all depends on what kind of medication. Some medicines all a must for certain people, therefore the need outweighs the risk of complications caused from taking the medicine. For example: Insulin is a needed medicine to live, therefore, it must be taken for baby and mother to live.

This is something you need to speak with your ob about. Some are fairly safe and may be worth a small risk if the mother needs the medication.
