i also breastfeed for like 5 months and then I stopped because I have no milk supply, I tried every now and then after that I cannot re-establish my milk. It has dried up. I think the more you use it the more it will have supply.
Unfortunately after eight months the milk glands have most likely reverted to a pre-pregnancy state for most women, with hormone supplementation it may be possible.
