It is rarely a good idea to feed wild animals. It is even illegal in some jurisdictions. Feeding wild animals may encourage them to enter human areas, and can allow their numbers to increase beyond what can be supported by the local territory.

Its fine to feed wild animals as long as its permittable in your city or town. Some cities have bans on feeding deer because they do not want them in the city limits. Just remember if you feed these animals chances are they are going to stay around because they know that you have food you are willing to feed.

Yes if we are talking about small harmless animals like squirrels or doves. Absolutely not if we are talking about large potentially dangerous animals as bears.

Wild animals need to be able to feed themselves. If they don't they are prone to losing fear of humans sometimes eat harmful food when fed by humans.
