Is it okay to end a sentence with a quote?

Yes, you can end a sentence with quotation. In the next sentence, you will want to explain the quote if it is in a research paper specifically, because you want to analyze not just quote.

You certainly can end a sentence with a quote. Just make sure you cite the source of the quote using your preferred style. In APA style, a quote at the end of a sentence would look like this : "It was great" (Smith, 2009). If you aren't citing a source, the period goes inside the quotations: "It was great. "

There is nothing wrong with ending a sentence using a quotation. It is frequently done in many different styles of writing. In writing dialogue in a short story, for instance, you would frequently end a sentence with a quote. In descriptive writing you might also end a sentence with a quote. It is perfectly acceptable.
