Is it okay that my dog drank from the toilet that had bleach in it?

Since the bleach must have been diluted from the water in the toilet, if your dog had a little bit the worst that could happen is he might throw up.

The bleach was most likely diluted significantly; however some water would probably help your dog process this. Put something flavorful in your dogs water bowl like some drippings, milk, or juice. This should get your dog to drink the whole bowl. Your dog should be fine if it happened a few days ago. Monitor him for changes.

Generally it is ok if your dog drank a little bit, but if it was drank in huge consumption, then you should immediately bring him to the vet. Dogs stomaches are very sensitive compared to humans.

He might be okay, depending on how much he drank and how much bleach there was in it, but it would probably be worth consulting your vet. Worse case senario leads to poisoning, so watch the dog carefully over the next couple days, if vomiting, shaking, or lethargy present, see your vet immediately. Be sure to keep it well hydrated!

WHENEVER you clean with chemicals keep all of your pets away from it. They can make them sick or kill them. If he looks sick take him to the Vet.
