It is perfectly normal for women to have increased cervical mucus at different times in their menstrual cycles. This is most common during ovulation, which is when a woman is most fertile, but it can happen at other times. The mucus actually increases the odds of conception. It is totally normal and no reason for concern.

Cervical mucus is a normal and healthy part of a woman's fertility cycle. The texture and volume of cervical mucus will change with the fluctuations of your hormones. Many women look to their cervical mucus for indications of ovulation when trying to conceive.
