Is it normal to have a body temperature of 96.4 degrees F?

This is a little lower than what would be considered a normal range, however many people differ with respect to their normal body temperatures. If you have no other issues, your physician may consider this normal.

98. 6 is the average body temperature. This means that most people have body temperatures that are slightly above or slightly below 98. 6. Furthermore, 98. 6 represents the average daily body temperature - this can vary by an entire degree throughout the day. 96. 4 is not abnormal.
