If the police have cause to take a minor into custody, they will do so and then notify the parents.

Probably not. If the child was a danger to himself or others or violating a law, the police do not need your consent to bring him into custody.

A parental consent is used for any time there is conduct between an officer and a minor - and this includs taking a minor out of school. It is illegal to do so.

A police officer can often do this. A minor can be questioned without parental presence, but not after being charged. A bit of advice- the term "cop" and the attitude implied in that is often non-productive. When dealing with the police, you can often gain more by being respectful and non-confrontational. You will NEVER win by arguing and insulting.

Yes, it is totally illegal for a cop to take a minor out of school without informing the school Principal and the parents of the minor child but the consent is NOT NECESSARY if the crime is of some major nature.

I think it could be, but you may need to talk to a lawyer to know for sure. I think a lawyer could tell you that answer. You need to know your rights of the child and you as a parent. So go see a lawyer about it. The lawyer should know the answer.
