Is it harmful if I had a yeast infection when I had a baby?

I just want my baby to be healthy and safe.

No, it is not harmful. The worst case is that the baby would end up with the infection. Then you would have to get rid of the infection in the baby as well. Thrush might be the biggest issue you deal with in this case. It isn't really harmful. Just very annoying.

No, a yeast infection during pregnancy is not harmful to you or your baby. Women are more prone to yeast infections during pregnancy.

If your doctor diagnosed that you had this infection while you were pregnant, they must have given you a cream to try to stop the infection from spreading to your baby since you can't use oral anti fungal anything in a developing baby. If during labor you have it, your baby could have thrush. If still inside, it's fine.

Depends if you had a vaginal birth or not. The baby can be born with a condition called Thrush, which is actually a yeast infection of the oral tissues.
